Well, got to the end of the competitive season at the BCC, with the exception of the Exhibition, and I came second in the standard class, Digital projection section, just one point behind the winner. So overall not bad for my first season. Last showing was somewhat marred by an off colour projector, but the image I chose maybe wasn't the strongest. Interestingly, I chose it because one of the members liked it a lot, though if I am honest I had an ill-formed concern about it that I could not put my finger on. Lesson number one, learn to trust my own judgement.
For the end of season Exhibition, which is also a competition, you can submit the same pictures over again, so basically I have in the standard class. I have taken the opportunity to 'improve' a couple, so we shall see how that goes. I have also entered five in some of the advanced categories, which are a bit more experimental, to see how they measure up.
