Some more pictures from the CASS Sculpture Foundation

1/200 sec @ f5.6, ISO 400, 66mm (zoom), Canon 20D
Another favourite of mine. An almost transcendental sense of peace for me. 'Head' by John Davies. The off-centre positioning of the head works well I think. Perhaps the background is a little lively.

1/200 sec @ f11, ISO 400, Canon 20D

'System No. 19 ' by Julian Wild. Fascinating object but desperately difficult to photograph successfully, until Kathleen pointed out the shadow. The shadow gives a nice sense of the overall shape of the piece, while being able to see how it is constructed. May be improved if the sun was lower in the sky so that the shadow was more of a rounded shape, but I am not sure that is physically possible. Maybe in winter?

1/60 sec @ f5.6, ISO 400, Canon 20D

'Stefano' by Keir Smith. Actually inspired by the martyrdom of St. Stephen apparently. The front view is probably more relevant, but I liked the evocative nature of this view.

1/250 sec @ f5, ISO 400, 44mm (zoom), Canon 20D

'Paparazzi' by Steven Gregory. Not often I associate sharp social commentary with sculpture but this manages it. Very clever. I tried standing back so that we could see the claw like feet but the cameras got a bit lost in the background. So decided to get the main piece of the object.

Did enough to show the shape of the bench but not a great photo. Probably could have had a better depth of field and the light was unflattering.
