The next round of the projected images comp

1/1250 sec @ f4.8, 34.8 mm (built-in zoom), Canon A710

The above shot was taken by the Zayendeh River in Isfahan, Iran. Just a grab shot as I was walking across a bridge. Saw this man walking out into the river on a small trail of stones. No idea why he was doing it. This is about as far out as he got, when he turned round and went back to the bank.

The colour mainly comes from the setting sun, into which I was shooting. I cannot make up my mind whether the large line of swan boats at the top works or not, but it is a striking shot! So I hope it will catch the judge's eye. Pretty much as it came out of the camera, though with some tidying up in PSCS2. I also like the implied triangles throughout this image.

1/80 sec @ f6.3, ISO100, 35mm (zoom), Canon 20D

Taken on a large gin palace of a boat in the Persian Gulf off Dubai. Actually waited for this shot as I watched the swimmer take several dives from this point. Perhaps I wish I had a little more room at the bottom but this was all I got.

Addition of a slight motion blur in PSCS3 to accent the blur that was already there, and converted to B&W in LR with some slight toning. Main aim of the photo was to create some tension between the moving diver and the static part of the boat.
