The judge opined that he had a strong sense that the image was a contructed one (which it wasn't) but other than that all was ok except the small cross at the top of the shot. He saw his eyes moving from the girl to the two crosses in front of her, back to the girl and bouncing up to the small cross, which was thus a distraction. I must admit I did wonder about this but I wanted to leave the cross where it was to provide some depth. Another time I should listen to the small voice in the head! Anyhow, it got a 9/10 which was not bad for the scoring he was giving out.
Chatted to an old boy afterwards and he was suggesting putting it into the Basingstoke competition which runs in the new year. He also suggest that I move the cross which I have done :-) Note that the picture above shows the cross AFTER it has been moved. Just imagine it nearer the edge and a bit to the left.
